Graduation Requirements: Master's of Education (M.Ed.)

Please meet with your advisor prior to registering for courses. Your advisor will assist you in creating a master's degree plan.

Coursework

College of Education Core Courses (9 hours):
Nine credit hours of core elements must be completed, three hours from each of the following three broad disciplinary foundations.

IT Master's Program Courses (27 hours)

Master's students must then take 7 additional courses (21 hours) to complete the program. Portfolio Assessment

Students will collect and reflect on items for a Web-based portfolio throughout the master's program. Please see Master's Portfolio Information at http://www.coe.uh.edu/mycoe/cuin/IT/ms_portfolio.cfm. Portfolio items will be compiled and organized at the conclusion of the program to demonstrate proficiency with program objectives and individual goals.

Students will present their portfolios to the IT faculty.

Comprehensive Examination
