Alumni
The College of Education Alumni Association consists of professionals from school districts, national education boards, universities and businesses.
Once a year the University of Houston college of Education and its Alumni Board host a stellar event, the Showcase of Stars.
This grand gala features honorees receiving Distinguished Alumni, Faculty Service, Student Scholarship and Friend of Education awards.
The college takes the opportunity to:
- Recognize alumni who have gone forth and made great strides in their fields.
- Show appreciation for faculty who have given of themselves in service to the college and their students.
- Acknowledge the efforts of those in the community who have helped to further the cause of educators and spotlight the value of education.
- Present scholarship awards to our best and brightest College of Education students.
