This site was created for a dual purpose:

• as an online resource for middle school teachers, specifically, one of the creators, Cindee Karns.
• as a project for a graduate class at the University of Houston, in which the other creator, Sandra McCubbin, is enrolled: Electronic Document Design, taught by Dr. Sara McNeil.

This site is a collaborative effort between two educators. The uniqueness of this partnership lies in the fact that the educators are sisters, and although live a vast distance apart, were able to complete the project through the use of technology.
