The Doctor of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction prepares graduates for leadership in the improvement of education at all levels from preschool through university schooling: in public and private schools, colleges and universities, in business and industry, and in other organizations with educational components. The program places emphasis upon research and scholarly activity in the areas of curriculum development and teaching in diverse educational settings, including schools, museums and community arts organizations. Applicants selecting art education as the area of emphasis will follow the following 66 hour program: |
