  • Direct the graduate degree programs in Art Education, including the Texas all-level teacher certification in art.
  • Serve as the academic advisor for over 40 graduate students pursuing the Doctor of Education degree or Master of Education degree in Art Education in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.
  • Teach graduate courses such as Integrative Art Teaching, History of Art Education, Philosophy of Art and Art Education, and Art in the Elementary and Secondary Schools.
  • Continue my on-going research on social reconstructionist art education, critical pedagogy, multicultural art education, computer-mediated art education, and Asian aesthetics.
