  • I am planning a demonstration of the Smart Board on Tuesday, March 31 and Thursday, April 2. I will also have some peripherals for hands-on experiences. Tuesday's students should plan to attend Tuesday's class that week instead of Thursday's. Both classes should plan on attending from 4:00- 4:50.

  • Organizer for technology supported teaching and learning [download the diagram in PDF] Always begin with the TEKS objective, and then start thinking about who is using the technology, where, when, how, and why--as well as how the technology component is to be developed.

  • I will be in R. 327 from 3:00 until 4:50 Tuesday and Thursday. Classes will meet as scheduled, but I am there early for additional assistance to anyone who might need it.

  1. Complete Week 8 discussion in Wikispaces. Due by midnight on Thursday, March 26.
  2. You should have signed up for a group within Wikispaces for peer reviews. Check for instructions on your Wikispaces course page.
  3. Revised drafts of Teaching Supports due by midnight on Thursday, March 26. (These are revised dates.)
  4. Student Learning Support draft is to be completed by March 24, 26 and uploaded to your portfolio with a  live link. Revised draft is due April 7, 9. Student Learning Support cannot be just a worksheet. See rubric and examples.
  5. Peer Review of Learning Support to be posted in Wikispaces (in provided discussion thread) by March 31, April 2. Follow rubrics for guidelines. Provide positive and delta comments for at least two learners in your group. Delta comments are suggestions for improvement.
  6. Student Product Example is to be completed by March 31, April 2 and uploaded to your portfolio with a live link. See rubric and examples.

    1. Notice the link for Quest 2 under the heading "Working Portfolio."

    2. Click on "Quest 2" and see the link to CUIN 3112.

    3. Click on "CUIN 3112." See the links for the products you will create for this course. The grayed-out text tells you what kind of information to supply. The blue links would lead the viewer straight to your product. The link to the product is what needs to be provided for your peers through email. (Peer groups will be assigned next week.)
