I'm also available for telephone calls, video conferencing and
in-person meetings at other times. Please contact me if you would

I am an Associate Professor in the
Instructional Technology Program and have been teaching in the
College of Education since 1993. Before coming to UH, I completed a
Master's degree and a doctoral degree in Instructional Technology
from the University of Virginia’s Curry School of Education.
I have also been a member of the
Society for Technology and
Teacher Education (SITE) for many years and serve
as chair of SITE's Digital Storytelling Special Interest Group.
I teach courses on digital photography and storytelling,
applications of digital video and multimedia, the design and
development of community-based web sites, and the use of
instructional technologies in medical education. I have also
published a large body of articles on the educational uses of
emerging technologies and frequently work with educators regarding
the integration of technology into teaching and learning. I am a
co-author of the book, The Educator's Guide to the Web, published in
1997.
