Licensing

Students who complete the M.Ed. Degree in Counseling –Professional Counseling track, and who choose to seek licensure as a Professional Counselor in the State of Texas, may obtain information regarding requirements for such licensure from the Texas State Board of Examiners for Professional Counselors. Students who plan on obtaining licensure outside the State of Texas should contact Licensing Boards of the states in which they may eventually wish to practice.
