College of Education Graduation

Commencement is the ceremony that acknowledges publicly the awarding of a degree. The College of Education has two commencement ceremonies:

  • one at the end of the Fall semester

  • one at the end of the Spring semester

Students graduating in the Summer may participate in the Fall ceremony following their summer completion.  The commencement ceremony usually lasts about 3 hours.

Graduating students should arrive at the Athletics and Alumni Center – enter doors on Cullen Blvd. The processional will form on the Basketball court in Yeoman Field House.  Your family and friends should proceed directly to Hofheinz Pavilion.

It will help us a great deal if you tell us if you're participating in the Commencement ceremony. Please R.S.V.P online using our Commencement RSVP Form.  *It is very important that you include phonetic or other type of assistance with the correct pronunciation of your name.

You can invite as many guests as you like.  Given the limited number of seats in Hofheinz Pavilion seating will be on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS.
