Research Interests:

Dr. Consuelo Arbona has been on the faculty of the Counseling Psychology program since 1986. She is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association (Division 17. She has served on the Executive Board of the Council of Counseling Psychology Training Programs (CCPTP) and has been on the Editorial Board of several journals including The Counseling Psychologist and the Career Development Quarterly. Currently, she is the co-chair of the Program Committee for the 2008 International Counseling Psychology Conference to be held in Chicago.

Dr. Arbona's research interests include multicultural issues in psychology,career and vocational issues and more recently, health psychology issues with a special emphasis on Hispanic populations. She has participated in national evaluations of educational and career development programs commissioned by the U. S. Department of Education Office of Planning and Evaluation.
