CITE's Help Request System
CITE has partnered with SchoolDude, Inc. to provide a modern technical assistance request processing system. If you have a problem with anything technology-related in the College, fill out a help request in this system. Your request will then be assigned to the appropriate technical support person.
Equipment Check-Out
The FAST (Faculty Assistant and Support Team) group coordinates the equipment reservation and checkouts in CITE. We have many useful items that you may check out for your classes or for use at a conference. We have laptops, projectors, digital voice recorders, and digital video and still cameras.
Computer Lab Reservations
The CITE Lab has eight teaching computer labs, five in Farish Hall, two in Cameron, and two in Garrison. All faculty members may reserve a lab room for a College of Education class for the semester or just for specific classes. All students must be currently enrolled in the Collage and must use the computers for at least half of the allotted time of the reservation.
Conference Poster Printing
One of the most popular services we offer for faculty, staff, and students is our poster printing. The CITE Lab has its own HP DesignJet 800 printer that is capable of printing signs on banner paper or vinyl up to 40" in height. Take advantage of this service and make your next conference poster presentation stand out from the crowd!
eClassrooms
eClassrooms is the CITE's electronic discussion board system for courses. Enjoy asynchronous communication outside of class time as a way to further explore topics or turn in assignments. eClassrooms also has a video conferencing module allowing the scheduling of meetings and virtual face-to-face classes with a modest webcam. Request an eClassroom today by using the online help form!
Online Assignment System
The Online Assignment System allows faculty to organize their course assignments and simplify grading. Faculty can upload assignments to which the students upload their completed work. Faculty (or their designated graders) then use an easy-to-use interface to grade the submitted assignments. The system also includes submission deadline options and email-the-entire-class functionality. Request an OAS today by using the online help form!
