Description   

The Standard Principal Certificate curriculum, a certificate program within which students may complete degree requirements, helps students extend their frames of reference, knowledge, and skills that they developed in their preservice teacher preparation curricula, professional development programs, and prior graduate work related to education. This curriculum includes the Masters of Education Core, the required foundation for all master’s degrees within the College of Education. It also integrates educational technology in the educational leadership courses.

The curriculum is a program consisting of an integrated cluster of expectations, requirements, courses, and experiences. It focuses solely on the preparation of school principals. It seeks to develop reflective practitioners.
