The Counseling Psychology Program of the Department of Educational Psychology is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) and offers the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree. The Program's relationships with various institutions within the internationally renowned Texas Medical Center and with numerous counseling and mental health agencies, schools, and hospitals throughout the Houston area provide a rich variety of clinical and research training experiences and employment opportunities for our students.
