Traditionally, students enter the Counseling Psychology Program with a master's degree in counseling or a related field. The traditional degree plan for these students requires four years of full-time study.For students entering the Program without a master's degree, a five-year degree plan is available. The leveling courses are designed to remediate those skills usually acquired in a master-level program, and still allow Counseling Psychology students to exit the program in five years.
