The department has gained national prominence for its graduate programs in Counseling Psychology and Educational Psychology & Individual Differences and has received university "excellence" funding for the Ph.D. program in School Psychology. The quality of our graduates is assured by the eminence of the faculty, several of whom are Fellows of the American Psychological Association and members of editorial boards for some of the field's flagship journals, such as the Journal of Educational Psychology and the Journal of Counseling Psychology. The department's faculty publish in a broad range of the most significant national and international journals and hold elected offices in state and national professional psychological and educational associations.
