I’m so pleased that you’re checking out this special edition of the College of Education Newsletter from the University of Houston. This edition of our Newsletter takes us back in pictures and stories to our annual Celebration Reception and Dinner at which we honor both our many donors and recipients. Nearly 100 guests joined us at the Hilton at UH for this festive occasion in September of last year.
Nothing is more special than the support we receive from our alumni and friends. This support makes it possible for our students to succeed. It energizes our faculty and elevates the quality of our academic programs.

Celebrating Scholarship and Program Support
The University of Houston College of Education is proud of its students and the friends who support them and our multitude of college programs. The Celebration Dinner is held every year in honor of our distinguished donors, Hall of Honor members and student scholarship recipients. We set aside time to recognize our scholarship winners and to thank the generous donors who establish our scholarships, program endowments and those who give toward our general college support.
