A Note From the Dean

Dean Bob Wimpelberg

Greetings!
Welcome to the mid-Spring edition of the College of Education Newsletter from the University of Houston!

This edition comes fast on the heels of our previous newsletter. That’s because we have just so much fantastic news to share with you.  Read about high-flying programs, students on-the-move, and hyper-accomplished alumni. (Did you know that the College of Education has nearly 30 alumni who teach in the same school?)

Let this edition inspire you to share your stories with us. You know that we love to brag, and the more we do, the harder it is to keep up.

With Spring Break just concluded, Spring Commencement less than two months away, and the Texas Legislature hinting at recognizing new “top-tier” universities, we are totally energized.

We thank you for sharing your time with us in this way.

Bob Wimpelberg
Dean of the College and Elizabeth D. Rockwell Chair
