Congratulations to the UH QUEST Sugar Land students!

UH teacher candidates from our Sugar Land program designed and developed curriculum based on the history of Sugar Land to help the community celebrate its 40th anniversary. Friday, October 23rd, these teacher candidates presented their curriculum to community members at the Fort Bend ISD Community Connect Conference. Led by Sugar Land program coordinator Diane Jerome, these seven teacher candidates shared the standards-based lessons they had written—designed in versions for both teachers and parents in a true home-school collaboration. Their presentation was well-received by the audience. These ladies represented the UH College of Education and the QUEST Teacher Education program well!
