- While walking my daughter into school this morning, I picked up a flyer for this conference sponsored by FT Bend ISD. It is October 26th from 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Williams Trace Baptist Church (about 7 minutes off Hwy. 59 S). Registration is $10 (and registure before Oct. 19th and lunch and child care are free).
This conference is broken down into three sections with multiple classes offered in each. I went to this last year and it is well worth it not only from a parent perspective but also from an educator's prospective. I thought it might be something your students might be interested in attending as well. I attached the link below for your review.
Oh, and you do not have to be a parent of an FBISD child to attend. In fact, it says nothing about needing to be a parent at all to sign up.
