REPRESENTATIVE SAMPLE TESTS

As part of your benchmarks for the QUEST program, you will take two “representative sample tests” that are very similar in nature to the two required TExES exams that are required to be a certified teacher in the state of Texas. Passing scores on these representative tests will indicate to us that you are ready to be successful taking the state exams.

All teaching students are required to pass the PPR benchmark exam prior to QUEST 2 and the content or generalist benchmark exam (not the state exam) prior to QUEST 3. Please refer to your degree plan for the specific benchmark when these tests are required.

Please visit the UH Testing Center website in order to register for the exams. http://las.uh.edu/uts/default.asp
