Area VI Representatives

The City of Houston centers the great Gulf Coastal plains of Area VI, with Port Arthur and Galveston serving as windows to the Gulf. the Davy Crockett and Sam Houston National Forests, combined with the unique Big Thicket National Preserve, serve to symbolize the natural environments of longleaf pine forests and coastal prairies. TAEA members of Area VI have rich cultural resources and active school districts to provide leadership in all areas of Texas Art Education. We hope, like all the other Regions, they can increase membership to help create a stronger TAEA.
