Bernard R. Robin, Ph.D.
Associate Professor of Instructional Technology

I am a faculty member in the Instructional Technology Graduate Program in the College of Education at the University of Houston

I have been teaching in the College of Education at UH since 1993.  Prior to that, I earned a bachelor's degree in Media Arts from the University of South Carolina and a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology from the University of Virginia’s Curry School of Education. My doctoral research focused on the creation of a public education network for teachers as well as their use of the Internet and the benefits of online communication.

My current interests include the design and development of community-based websites for the arts; educational uses of digital photography, digital video, and digital storytelling; and the use of technology in medical education.

In addition to teaching courses on the University of Houston campus, I also serve as the director of the Master's of Education in Teaching Program with an Emphasis in the Health Sciences which the University of Houston offers on the campus of the Texas Medical Center.
