Scholarship Application


Scholarship Application Process:

The College of Education student scholarship application process is open January 1, 2020 through 11:59 p.m. on February 17, 2020. All application information is submitted online.

Step 1: Review

Review the list of scholarships to familiarize yourself with the GPA requirements, areas of specialization and other criteria.

Step 2: Prepare

The Scholarship Committee will review your application only for scholarships for which you meet the criteria. You only have to submit one application and upload one set of materials.

Prepare the following materials:

  1. A written narrative (single-spaced, typed on one page, 12-point font, saved as a PDF document)

    Answer the question, "What makes you a strong candidate for a COE scholarship?"

    • Why did you choose your major?
    • What are your career goals and aspirations after graduation?
    • Describe how you have exhibited leadership (e.g., on class/team project, in extracurricular activities, in school clubs, in community or service organizations, etc.) and/or your academic accomplishments.

  2. An unofficial high school transcript (saved as a PDF file)

    Please redact your social security number on your transcript before you submit it.

  3. Note: Please upload only PDF file. Don't use special characters (such as +, %, ., &, #, ", ', /, @, * or a comma) for your file name. The underscore is the best use for a file name (e.g. John_Smith_essay or John_Smith_transcript).

Step 3: Submit

Complete the College of Education Scholarship Application below and upload a written narrative and high school transcript before the deadline of February 17, 2020 . Click the SUBMIT button to complete the Scholarship application.

All required documents must be submitted in order for your application to be considered complete.
